Daisy appears as a prominent character in the ''[[Super Mario-kun]]''. First appearing in the Sarasaland chapters, Daisy's original role is equivalent to her role in the American comics. She is the captive princess of Tatanga, who plans to have her hand in marriage. After the Sarasaland chapters, Daisy's role switches to that of a heroine. She then appeared alongside close friends Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Although Daisy has not received her own manga series, as Wario and Yoshi have, she is a more consistently reoccurring main character in the ''Super Mario-Kun'' series.
